Required documents

1. Passport with validity not less than 18 months.

2. The declaration form must be filled out and signed.

3. Document(s) of Police verification stating the applicant has no criminal record issued by the country of residence. The verification must not be more than three months old.

4. Document(s) of medical certificate from the country where the applicants apply for visa stating that applicants don’t have any prohibited diseases as follows: Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Elephantiasis, drug addiction, the third stage of Syphilis. The medical certificate must be issued no longer than 3 months prior to the date of submission.

5. Copy of evidence stating that applicants have insurance as per stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and health insurance of Thailand which has insurance money for outpatient not less than 40,000 Baht and for inpatient not less than 400,000 Baht. Please check ( http://longstay.tgia.org ) for more information regarding the insurance requirement.

6. Financial evidence e.g.

a) Certificate of bank deposit stating bank contact information, copy of bank book and bank statement which shows fixed deposit with the amount of not less than 3 million Baht deposited in Thai bank located in Thailand.

b) Certificate of bank deposit stating bank contact information, copy of bank book and bank statement which shows fixed deposit with the amount of not less than 1.8 million Baht deposited in Thai bank located in Thailand and certificate of annual income with the amount of not less than 1.2 million Baht (local currency equivalent) per year.

(Once the applicants enter Thailand, they must have accumulated money deposited in a Thai bank located in Thailand not less than 3 million Baht within 1 year.)

c) The amount of money under (a) and (b) must rest in the bank account for at least 1 year before it can be withdrawn. Within the following year, at least 1.5 million baht must be left in the account. The amount can only be spent in Thailand.

7. The applicant is required to upload his / her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip.

8. Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy / Consulate conforming with his / her consular jurisdiction and residency. The applicant is required to upload documents that can verify his / her current residency. E.g. Passport or ID Card

Remarks: The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents if necessary or to invite the applicant to an interview.

Validity of the visa

Travelers coming to Thailand with a Non-Immigrant O-X visa will be initially granted a stay permit of 5 years in the Kingdom according to the validity of the visa. After five years they can apply for an extension of five years.

5 years from first entry (with an option to extend for a further 5 years), a total of 10 years

MULTIPLE ENTRIES: 350 euro

Accompanying spouses and children under 20 years of age can also apply for the Non-Immigrant Visa OX. The visa fee must be paid for each application.

Non-Immigrant Visa B (Work & Business)

Conducting business or working

Ordinary passport holder who wishes to enter the Kingdom for conducting business or working is subjected to be granted a Non-Immigrant B Visa.

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.

2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.

3. Letter of invitation on company letterhead from the business host in Thailand.

4. Letter of approval from the Ministry of Labour is requested. (To obtain this letter, the prospective employer in Thailand is required to submit Form WP3 at the Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour, or at a Provincial Employment Office in the respective province. 5. Employment contract indicating rationale for employing the applicant as well as his/her salary, position, and qualifications. (Document must be signed by authorized managing director and affixed the seal of the company).

6. Copy of Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Labour. (Only in case the applicant has previously worked in the Kingdom).

7. Copy of educational records of the applicant and letters of recommendation from the prior employers, identifying job description and length of service time. (Optional)

8. Copy of a permit of stay or other evidence to prove that the applicant is legally residing in Italy/Cyprus/Albania/San Marino (only for non-Italian /Cypriot/ Albanian/Sammarinese passport holders)

A copy of the host’s Thai Business Registration and Thai Business License which is issued by the Department of Commercial Registration. * Please note that copy of corporate documents may be requested as deemed appropriated; namely 1) list of shareholders 2) business registration and business license 3) company profile 4) details of the business operation 5) list of foreign workers stating names, nationalities, and positions 6) map indicating the location of the company 7) Balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax (PorNgorDor 50 and PorNgorDor 30) of the latest year 8) Alien income tax return (PorNgorDor 91) and 9) Value-added tax registration (PorNgorDor 20).

For teaching or employment as personnel in government or private primary, secondary or vocational schools:

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.

2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.

3. Acceptance or Invitation Letter from concerned authorities under the Ministry of Education of Thailand

4. Employment or Assignment Letter from the institution in Thailand signed by the competent person and the copy of identity card or passport of the person who signed the letter.

8. Work Permit (in case that the applicant continues to work with the same school)

Validity of the visa

A single-entry visa is valid for 90 days. The validity of a Multiple-entry visa could be varied from three months to one year.

Upon arrival, travelers with this type of visa may be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 90 days.

SINGLE ENTRY: 70 euro

MULTIPLE ENTRIES: 175 euro

Non-Immigrant Visa ED (Education)

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom to study, to come on a work-study tour or observation tour, to participate in projects, seminars, or internship programme, to attend a conference or training course, and to study as a foreign Buddhist monk.

*The applicant will be issued a Non-Immigrant ED visa only if the internship is mandatory for the curricular. Non-Immigrant B visa will be issued otherwise.

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.

3. Letter confirming voluntary work signed by an authorized person together with a copy of ID card or passport of the sign.

4. Registration of NGO/Charity/Association.

Thai National Who has abandoned its Thai citizenship ( Non-Immigrant O)

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.

2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.

3. Proof of having Thai citizenship.

4. Travel booking confirmation.

To be a contestant or a witness for the judicial process ( Non-Immigrant O)

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.

2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.

3. Documents showing participation in the judicial process.

4. Financial evidence, e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings, proof of sponsorship from a third party).

5. Travel booking confirmation

To work as a film-producer, journalist or reporter ( Non-Immigrant M)

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.
2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.

3. Approval letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the letter of authorization/permission for film production in Thailand from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand

4. Financial evidence, e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings, proof of sponsorship from a third party).
